Do You Juggle? I Juggle Hats and Shoes.

I love hats and shoes.  Most of them are currently in boxes this moment though.  We’re trying to sell our home, so my 34 pairs of shoes and 12 hats are almost all packed away except for a few.  My hat and shoe collection isn’t what I’m juggling these days.

I am not just a stay at home mom anymore like the tagline at the top of this blog says.  I’ll find some time in my juggling act to update that and maybe even decide on a new blog theme.

Today, I’m juggling life as a mom of 7 year old and 9 year old kids on summer break, while I work from home when I can squeeze in time on my phone and computer as the President of the National Federation of the Blind of Nevada, planning our NFB Nevada BELL Academy, and details for the NFB National Convention where close to 4,000 of my Federation Family will be visiting the city I call home for #NFB19.

Most days, I feel like I can even toss in sunglasses, spatulas, wine bottles, and salad tongs as I juggle while hula hooping on one foot.  Throw in the added stress and anxiety of trying to sell my home though, and you might find me curled up crying in my closet so my kids don’t hear my sobs.  Hiding in the closet didn’t work.  The kids found me.

I want to give a big thanks to every single person on my juggling team.  Your support means the world to me, and helping me get through this chapter in life.
