Five Minutes

Five minutes.

That’s what I’m giving myself to write this blog.

Five minutes.

That’s the amount of time I’ll be hiding in the bathroom.

Five minutes.

That’s what I need to regroup, refresh, and redirect the trajectory of my day.

Five minutes.

For deep breathing.

Five minutes.

for self care.

When you feel the weight of to do’s crushing you,

When your plate is about to shatter or tip over because of the imbalance,

It just takes five minutes.

Do it with me friend.

  1. Terri, I like this post! For me, five minutes is all I need, to take a deep breath and collect my thoughts before moving to my next class during a long and crazy day.
